Growth takes time. There’s no ‘easy’ button, sorry!

The classic saying “Rome wasn’t built in a day” is absolutely applicable in business growth and development.

Yes, there are ways some people cheat the system; follow/unfollow bots, purchasing email lists, and purchasing followers are just a few of the things I hear about or see on a daily basis.

The honest truth is that everything takes time.

There is no magic way to jump into the future to see what worked, what didn’t, and to have the community of your dreams.

Yes, rules and algorithms are always being updated and changed; usually causing a panic between social media managers, marketing managers, and business owners alike.

But why panic?

The base understanding of what is right in business and growth has remained the same.

  1. Connection: meaningful, useful connections with those you engage with. Who are you connecting with, how do you connect with them?
  2. Timeliness: how often and when you post in conjunction with your specific target audience.
  3. Content: everyone’s favorite, but one of the hardest to keep strong! Content is the golden ticket to the chocolate factory; the best part you’re invited. Content is the absolute number 1 way to ensure you’re connecting with those that matter most.

For the best growth you have to have to be committed.

Yes, it’s hard. Yes, it takes a lot of time. Yes, it will be frustrating when you don’t see the results you want. Yes, it will take a toll mentally.

Be prepared.

Have a team that knows what they are doing or hire a professional to take some of the burden away.
